Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Daily News Rap™, operated by Mixink LLC, handles information when you use the app.

1. Information You Provide

Daily News Rap™ does not require a user account and does not directly request information such as your name, mailing address, or payment information.

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and any attachments.

2. Information Collected Automatically

The app and its service providers may automatically collect limited technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the app, including:

  • Usage Data — such as app interactions, episode playback activity, feature use, and general engagement
  • Diagnostics Data — such as crash reports, error logs, and performance information
  • Device Information — such as device type, operating-system version, app version, language, and general technical identifiers
  • Notification Information — such as a device-level push notification token used to deliver notifications

3. Saved Episodes and Preferences

Saved episodes, playback preferences, onboarding status, and similar settings may be stored locally on your device. Removing the app or clearing its data may remove locally stored information.

4. Push Notifications

Daily News Rap™ may send optional push notifications to inform you when new content is available or to provide important app-related notices.

Notifications are sent only after you grant permission through your device. The app may use Firebase Cloud Messaging and the Apple Push Notification service to deliver notifications.

You may disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

5. Video Downloads and Photos Access

When you choose to save a video clip to your device, the app may request permission to add that user-selected clip to your photo library. This access is used only to complete the save action you request.

You may manage Photos permissions at any time through your device settings.

6. Sharing

When you use the app’s sharing features, the selected content is passed to the sharing service or app you choose, such as Messages, Mail, or a social-media platform.

Your use of a third-party sharing service is governed by that service’s own terms and privacy practices.

7. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve app functionality
  • Deliver push notifications when enabled
  • Remember local preferences and saved selections
  • Process user-requested downloads and sharing actions
  • Understand general usage patterns
  • Diagnose errors, prevent misuse, and improve performance
  • Respond to support, correction, or legal inquiries

8. App Hosting and Service Providers

Daily News Rap™ uses third-party technology providers to distribute, host, store, secure, and operate app features. These include Google Firebase services such as Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and any enabled diagnostic or performance services.

Apple distributes the app through the App Store and provides device services used for notifications, permissions, downloads, and sharing.

These providers may process limited device, usage, diagnostic, notification, or content-delivery information as needed to provide their services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy terms and our applicable service arrangements.

9. Content-Production and Automation Services

Daily News Rap™ may use third-party artificial-intelligence, automation, database, audio-production, video-rendering, and cloud-storage services as part of its internal content-production workflow. These services process editorial materials, media files, and operational production data used to create and deliver Daily News Rap™ content.

The current app does not require users to submit personal prompts, upload personal content, or provide personal information to these production services in order to listen to episodes, save content, download clips, or use sharing features.

If the app later introduces user-generated content or features that send user information to an AI or production service, this Privacy Policy and any required permission notices will be updated.

10. Data Sale, Advertising, and Tracking

Daily News Rap™ does not sell or rent personal information.

The app does not use information to track users across third-party apps or websites and does not use personal information for targeted advertising.

11. Data Disclosure

We may disclose limited information to service providers that help us operate, secure, maintain, and improve the app.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our rights, investigate misuse, protect users or the public, or complete a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

12. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including app operation, security, diagnostics, legal compliance, and support.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the service provider involved, and legal or operational requirements. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained longer because it is not reasonably linked to an individual user.

13. Your Choices and Requests

You may disable notifications, Photos access, and other app permissions through your device settings.

You may contact us to ask about information associated with your support communications or device and to request access, correction, or deletion where reasonably available and legally required.

Because the app does not require accounts, some technical or aggregated information may not be identifiable as belonging to a particular user.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

15. Children’s Privacy

Daily News Rap™ is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and address the matter.

16. Website and External Services

The app may provide links to the Daily News Rap™ website, email services, privacy information, or other external services needed for support and app functionality.
